Poems about Being Noticed

Looking for love…

Longing to be Noticed

He looks comfortable and casual;
She is tense and in despair,
Because he doesn’t notice
She is sitting there.

The air is thick with how she longs
To curl up at his side—
If he knew
her thoughts about him,
He would run away and hide.

Love, that’s not requited,
Is a burden she must bear;
But she keeps on ever-hoping
He will notice she is there.
