My darling, I forgive you;
Won’t you please forgive me too,
For in truth, I find I’m nothing
When I do not have you.

My life is just as empty
As a cone without ice cream,
And the only time I’m happy
Is when I see you in my dreams.

So let’s end this sad old break-up;
Let’s make up right away
I cannot live without you—
For a single, other day!

  • I heard a creek that I lurk to peak.
    A door to misery that I do not seek.
    I take a seat because I am too weak.
    Too weak to speak.
