A plump little bundle of unmitigated joy,
Gathered together in a new little boy,
Someone we’ll love without reservation,
Who will bring to us loads of unmeasured elation.
What a treasure he is, what a wonderful infant, If he cries, we will both run to him in an instant,
We’ll hold him and rock him and kiss his sweet toes,
Well tickle his belly and tweak his cute nose,
We will spoil him just as much as we can
And assure him someday he will be a great man,
And when our devotion becomes over wearing,
We’ll call for his parents and thank them for sharing,
And we’ll pack up his gear and give the kid back–
Because we’re exhausted and MUST hit the sack!
