This is a prayer for someone you know that has suffered a break-up with their loved one.
I know your heart is broken
And you’re not sure what went wrong,
So I’m praying for you daily
That you will not suffer long.
There are things that you can change
And things that you cannot;
With every loss you need to focus
On what you still have got.
It hurts when there’s a break-up;
We can’t deny the pain,
But the best thing we can do
Is get up and start again.
That’s something that’s not easy
But I will pray until you do—
Remember every ending
Is a new beginning too.
May God be with you as you get over this sad event in your life. In the name of Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen
